This two-disc set captures Stanley in concert in Tokyo in May of 1971. With a band made up of Roy Lee Centers, Curly Ray Cline, and Jack Cooke, Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys literally tear the audience up with a marvelous blend of Stanley Brothers classics and some Bill Monroe standbys. This was one of the better latter-day versions of the Clinch Mountain Boys, and their enthusiastic playing in the face of the tumultuous applause makes this recording a valuable document.
