AllMusic Review by

The second of two CDs taken from Duke Ellington's 1964 Carnegie Hall concert finds trumpeter Cootie Williams in emotional form on "Caravan" and "Tutti for Cootie" and altoist Johnny Hodges typically soulful and bluish on "Isfahan," "Things Ain't What They Used to Be" and the obscure "Banquet." The rest of the set is more routine but still worth hearing, as are all of the recordings in Duke Ellington's massive discography.
