AllMusic Review by

Cornetist Wild Bill Davison collaborated with a fine group of Australian trad players for this obscure but worthy LP. Best-known among the supporting cast is trumpeter Bob Barnard (who is featured on the one number that Davison sat out on, "Mahogany Hall Stomp"). Fat Cat McRee does an okay job on three vocals (he did own the record label) and Wild Bill sounds fine on the usual Dixieland and swing standards, including "September in the Rain," "Chicago," "Sweethearts on Parade" and "Dinah."
