AllMusic Review by

Cornetist Wild Bill Davison's next-to-last recording (he was 76 at the time) is a loose jam-session date recorded at the 1982 Memphis Jazz Festival. Five numbers are instrumentals with a fine sextet that also includes trombonist Jim Beebe, clarinetist Chuck Hedges, pianist Joe Johnson, bassist Milt Hinton and drummer Barrett Deems ("Someday You'll Be Sorry" and "Monday Date" are most impressive). The three other songs feature vocalist Sheri Connor and have Doc Ryan on second cornet. The music is fun and recommended to Dixieland fans, but nothing too essential or unusual occurs.
