AllMusic Review by

A generous helping of Leroy Hutson's tracks from his Curtom Records days, courtesy of England's Sequel Records. This contains everything: the descriptive singer's biggest single "So in Love With You," "Love Oh Love," the title track, and good stretched-out numbers like "All Because of You," "Unforgettable," and "(You Put the Funk) In My Life." And there are enough ballads to satisfy most listening palates. The only significant omission from the 23 tracks is his rendition of "The Ghetto," the gritty cut he co-wrote with Donny Hathaway that broke Hathaway on soul radio; Hutson does a nice version of the influential groove that's been imitated by so many.
