Where the first, blues-based album was melodic, this second one is rhythmic. The elements of funk, reggae, rock, and blues in this sonic stew are well worth a listen. The self-contained Canadian trio continues sounding derivative and fresh at the same time. "Old" illustrates compassion and awareness beyond the bandmembers' years, putting a new twist on Pete Townshend's most infamous lyric.
