The title is misleading: this has none of what they did for TK in the 1970s, and is entirely composed of material from the first half of the 1980s. In fact, all but one of the 14 tracks is taken from two albums (1981's Everything is Cool, 1982's Pure & Natural). The music is caught somewhere between disco, urban contemporary, and soul -- which is another way of saying that it's pretty lacking in personality.
