A budget release from the early '90s, Shake Your Pants is a compilation that's far too scattershot and just plain cheap to be recommended to anyone seeking an adequate introduction to Cameo. Some of the group's hottest songs -- "Shake Your Pants," "I Just Want to Be," "Freaky Dancin'," "Keep It Hot," and the undervalued ballad "I Care for You" -- are included here, but an even greater number are not, and some of the cuts weren't released as singles, so they won't be familiar to casual fans who only know the radio hits. 1993's Best of Cameo and 2002's double-disc Anthology are far more preferable.
