Swedish funk in the Zapp & Roger tradition from the momentum-gaining Dot label. As with most Dot releases, the fullness of production and overall "songyness" can be misleading, but this is melodic machine music taken to the next level of tunefulness. The A-side features two tracks: a fast-break electro-jungle tune and a rich, melodic slice of futuristic P-Funk, both echoing Clear label artists such as Clatterbox and Doctor Rockit, but topping both easily with a sense of depth and emotional (read: lacking cheek) investment. Roupe's remix on the flip is a bit MOR for its context, but Si Begg's Buckfunk 3000 remix is an almost brutal gash of hardcore digital electro best pitched down to avoid speaker damage.
