AllMusic Review by

Other than two numbers ("I've Found a New Baby" and "Memories of You") that feature an uncredited Koos Van Der Sluis on bass and drummer Ted Easton, all of the music on this excellent LP (a 1982 reissue of a date cut for the Dutch Riff label) is comprised of piano solos by the brilliant stride pianist Ralph Sutton. There are no real surprises in the repertoire (which includes such standbys as Willie "the Lion" Smith's "Echoes of Spring," "I Found a New Baby," "Viper's Drag" and "Dinah"), but neither is there a loss of enthusiasm or an excess of predictability. Sutton remains the best in his field and all of his recordings (particularly the solo sessions) are easily recommended.
