After his debut album, Jimpster makes a bid for being a serious artist that, for the most part, falls flat. The energy and flair of his first EPs are gone, replaced with quiet introspection worthy of Air or quiet storm junglism (Endemic Void minus the breaks). A few tracks, including "Static Dynamic" and "Shivering Sands," benefit from his introspective touches, but listening to an entire album of fusion wash can be a trial unless you're a big fan of the Rippingtons.
