Live in London is an enjoyable but undistinguished live record Petula Clark cut in the late '70s. Instead of concentrating on her '60s hits, the record devotes itself to her versions of '70s pop hits, including "You Are the Sunshine of My Life," "Alone Again (Naturally)," "Where Do I Begin (Theme from Love Story)," "Yesterday Once More," "You've Got a Friend" and "I Can See Clearly Now." There are also some country songs and '60s pop hits -- "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "What the World Needs Now Is Love" -- but in general, this is an album for dedicated fans of Petula's voice. Even at this later stage, her singing retains some of its power and beauty, but only longtime fans will want to hear her tackle this material at this stage of her career.
