AllMusic Review by

Composer Stephen Trask (Hedwig & the Angry Inch) and arranger/programmer Edwin Wendler (The Losers) replaced Randy Newman on the third installment of the popular comedy franchise that began with Meet the Parents in 2000. Like its predecessors, Little Fockers relies on a combination of upbeat, pop-oriented material and more traditional, classical themes, but this time around, there are no classic rock appearances from Canned Heat or Tim Hardin. Trask and Wendler provide some nice moments, especially “The Byrnes Family Tree,” which plays coyly off of the theme from the Godfather (referenced again somberly in the “The Gregfocker”), but the dreadful comedy bit “Byrnes, Jack Byrnes Remix” (music by Joseph Bonn), which features Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller samples taken from all three films, sounds like an outtake from the talent show in Revenge of the Nerds.
