The ever-morphing sounds of psych collective Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. rarely stick to one plan from record to record. Indeed, 2012's Son of a Bitches Brew paid uncannily accurate homage to electric period Miles Davis jazz fusion, but subsequent album In Search of the Lost Divine Arc promptly does away with all of that. Heavy guitar-driven metal riffing stays just psychedelic and weird enough to not be deemed full-on metal, threatening to go over the edge throughout the lengthy, deep-fried collective jams.
