Both Crosby and Fred Astaire were signed to United Artists during the mid-'70s, resulting in several solo albums for each, plus an LP of duets. Though the duet album was reissued in America on the Curb label, this collection adds six more tracks to the original program and betters the sound quality by quite a bit. Most of the selections are unique to Crosby's career, including such odd titles as "Top Billing," "Mister Keyboard Man," "I've a Shooting Box in Scotland," "A Couple of Song and Dance Men," and "I Love to Dance Like They Used to Dance." How Lucky Can You Get! was obviously designed for collectors, and that's about the limit of this release's appeal.
