Blowfly enjoyed renewed popularity in the '80s, but while these albums had bite and humor, they weren't as ribald or on-the-edge as his underground albums in the '70s. Still, it's interesting in the light of discussions going on regarding sexism and images to hear Blowfly's frank, explicit, vulgar stories. They are certainly tasteless; they're also frequently hilarious.
