Soraya's entry in the extensive 20th Century Masters series of Universal best-ofs functions well within her catalog, providing a well-assembled ten-song sampler of the primary highlights from her three albums for the label: En Esta Noche (1996), Torre de Marfil (1997), and Cuerpo y Alma (2000). The Columbian-American singer/songwriter went on to record similarly strong albums for EMI in subsequent years, but as far as her Universal years are considered, 20th Century Masters is a good collection of highlights. Exitos Eternos is even better, granted its 14 inclusions and bonus video making it the more comprehensive alternative. It's also a little more costly as a result. So if you're budget-minded and looking for only the major hits like "De Repente," 20th Century Masters is a great choice. And if you like what you hear here, her albums proper are easily recommended, especially En Esta Noche.
