Tim Buckley

Song Slowly Song

Song Review by

A drone-filled melody and minor-key chord pattern are thrust into this mini-medley, one of the highlights. The loose, stanza-like verses and melody are truly evocative here and surely must be what the liner notes on Tim Buckley refer to as "watercolor" music from the young Buckley. Some unobtrusive guitar work from Lee Underwood and psychedelic drum work are the keys here, and the song's arrangement is clearly a part of the songwriting process.
