The Monkees

Zilch

Song Review by

One of the more popular Monkees "cult" recordings, this bit of charming and creative nonsense is a collection of recitals by the individual group members. Each part was spoken individually and then was syncopated via overdubbing. It doesn't make any real sense, and probably wasn't meant to, but it nevertheless shows the group (and producer Chip Douglas) enjoying the studio process.
