Los Lobos

Song Review by

This traditional, festive Mexican polka was part of the early Los Lobos repertoire back in the days when they earned their money as one of the most highly regarded party bands in East Los Angeles. They surely must have played the song hundreds of times by the time they went into the studio to record their debut album, Just Another Band From East L.A. In the process, they transformed it into a hard-rocking statement that underlined their reputation as a great local dance band.
