Another great album from a living legend. Fantastic retro R&B/Soul arrangements and grooves. Van is still on top of his game; Awesome Blue Eyed Soul singing and phrasing. It’s a shame that the music press has trashed his career because of his recent lyric content. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? Everyone’s entitled to their beliefs, opinions and take on affect of pandemic lockdowns & quarantines. Look what’s it’s done to the entertainment industry!

This is one of my favorite Muddy Waters albums. I love the production & fidelity of this recording, showcasing Muddy’s incredible vocals, out front, with great horn arrangements. An absolute winner!

I love the feel of this album. All of the tracks feature tasteful guitar playing with great tone. I checked out some of Delicate Steve’s other releases, all fantastic music from a uniquely talented artist. Five stars!!
