The best of pre-Alive era Kiss. Very concise (clocking at cca. 31 minutes), very dynamic, and highly enjoyable from start to finish. One of their best-sounding albums. It's clear, warm, punchy and well-balanced. Great internal rhymes in Room Service and C'mon and Love Me. Curiously, the studio version of their big hit Rock and Roll All Nite may very well be the weakest track here, as it pales in comparison with later live versions. Highlights: Room Service, Rock Bottom, C'mon and Love Me, Anything for my Baby, She, Love Her All I Can.
