Casane Lucas's Album Reviews

Innuendo contains one of the most interesting insights of Queen's entire discography.

Heavier than ever the band went full-blown hard-boiled neo-hard rock, noticeably a mature sound with few exceptions as "Delilah" and "All God's People" which might seem poppy in comparison.

It's undeniable that the album also contains a darker what-if philosophical aura. Themes as life or death, world crisis and goodbyes are quite recurrent.

To me, Innuendo is, and will always be a mystery. Only god knows what went through Freddie's head while making it in such state he found himself.

but utter most doesn't change the fact that Innuendo is a Masterpiece every Queen fan should listen.

A London-esque trip through many forms of mystique sounds. Exploring techno-psychedelic from soft to energetic.

Melancholical moods creating reflective and introspective moods (Cat And Rabbit, Metropole, An Old Aquarius) are very distinguished songs in the tracklist.

Although written by a Brazilian musician, Hisscivilization might the most British album you'll ever hear out there.

Mint Hand surely refreshes spraydog's repetoir. Mint Hand has dreampop as their signature all over it, tracks like "You Are What I Love" "Peardrops" and "Don't Remember" are definitely highlights of this album, surely other great songs are present with a more introspective feeling as "By The Tide" and "Girls Know Girls". A nice album after all!

I appreciate the uniqueness of this album, in my perception Sweet Trip gave birth to Techno-shoegaze, the choppiness although is purely aesthetical and completely unnecessary to be in it.

Its moody, emo-ish and surprisingly well performed, it is indeed revolutionary for the time, i just wish i could call this band a one-hit wonder, but not even that they could've achieved, it literally took a decade so the band could receive a proper attention thanks to meme culture.

Best album of the band so far, It has nice melodies in it and even if pop-rock isn't your type of genre you might find yourself jamming to one or more tracks in this CD. Its simple but it doesn't feel like, it sounds really well produced and well-put.

Its sad the band discontinued the project, its noticeable their amount of talent, specially by the drummer which totally rips it in a manner i haven't ever heard before i first heard the track "Lafayette" , although it misses a lot during later tracks in the CD as a little boring maybe.
