Album Premiere: Dam Gila (aka Adam Gil of YAWN) - 'So Long, Leisure'

YAWN frontman Adam Gil's solo debut, So Long, Leisure, finds its creator billed as Dam Gila, and features 12 cuts that range from electronica to psychedelia to power-pop, all with a seasonally-disparate burst of sunshine. "Head in the Clouds" is a fuzz-covered, energetic track, "Winter Weight" adds soaring strings into the psychedelic swirl while "Only a Simulation" spaces out and stares at the sky for a while with electronics and effortless vocals. It might sound incompatible with a cloudy November day, but we're really into this one today. So Long, Leisure will be released November 18.
