Starting as a high school jam band for Ken Blaze and his friends, Unknown began to produce their own brand of poppy punk music after hooking up with drummer Wayne Roscoe and gigged extensively around the Cleveland area. They began to release independent albums through the '90s and into the next decade as their lineup stabilized with the eventual additions of Wayne's brother Chris Roscoe and Brian McCafferty, leading to a lineup that has maintained since 1996.
