Chicago, Illinois, USA-based hard rock quartet formed in 1993 by Wes Kidd (vocals/guitar), Kevin Tihista (b. Walnut Creek, California, USA; bass/vocals), Brian St. Clair (drums), and Ronnie Schneider (guitar). Kidd and St. Clair had previously played together in the punk outfit Rights Of The Accused. Triple Fast Action worked with established indie producer Don Fleming on their 1996 major label debut Broadcaster, but their mixture of punk pop and sub-grunge angst fell on deaf ears, and despite a noticeable improvement on the following year’s independently released Cattlemen Don’t they continued to struggle to find an audience. It was no surprise when the quartet decided to call it a day in 1998. Tihista later surfaced with his own band, Kevin Tihista’s Red Terror, releasing the acclaimed Don’t Breathe A Word in 2001.
