An odd little '60s garage band from Michigan with more of a folk-pop bent than most such outfits. Their ditties were simple but catchy, sounding kind of like a raw Herman's Hermits; on the slower tunes, the lead vocalist has an artless, low singalong delivery that oddly foreshadows Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening. They never had any success, but a five-song EP of their material emerged in 1987. It's rare (500 copies), but worth picking up by garage fans who want something a little different and more original than the usual three-chord raunch.
