Maryland's the Burning Season evolved from an earlier outfit named Worlds Apart circa 2001, and, after settling on a lineup consisting of vocalist Mike Josleyn, guitarists Jason Keeney and Doug Paterno, bassist Frank Colesanti, and drummer Chris Josleyn, released their debut album, The Haze of Infatuation (an emo-stained brew of hardcore and metal), in early 2005.
