The Baileys hail from Australia's official country music capital, the city of Tamworth in New South Wales. In this small region of the country, the Baileys formed a niche, playing roots rock and country-tinged pop. The youthful group is comprised of sisters Charlene (guitars and vocals) and Crystal Bailey (mandolin) and brother Kurt Bailey (drums), as well as Lindsay Dallas (bassist) and Daniel Conway (vocals and guitar). In 2006, the Baileys received the Johnny O'Keefe Encouragement Award at the 30th Annual MO Awards, Australia's longest-running annual entertainment awards showcase.
