Richard Wilson

The works of 18th century Welsh landscape painter Richard Wilson have provided quite a few cover illustrations for classical releases on labels such as Hyperion. There is no connection between the painter and the modern classical composer of the same name, despite the fact that the latter concocted a triad of pieces dedicated to painters.
