A large number of performers exist with the name Richard Wilson or variants thereof; the generous assortment of different talents demonstrated by this particular Richard Wilson unfortunately suggests that he could be potentially confused with any of them. On the Morning Scars project fronted by Wilson with the group Racingpaperplanes, he is alone credited with guitar, percussion and drums, vocals, mixing, and photography. He developed the release on the Tract label following an association with Floodhorse, an early Swedish grunge band hailing from the town of Skovde. Wilson is also a member of the Ghost Sessions band. His songwriting dominates Morning Scars, with the title "Crumbs Under Bare Feet" strongly evoking the lifestyle of the typical Swedish indie rocker.
