Radar Mecury's original intentions of wanting to rock out of their New Jersey surroundings have led to a blend of melodic pop-punk and indie maturity. Upon their 1998 formation, the line-up of Kevin Tunney (guitar), Eric Vida (drums), Mike Rummel (guitar), and Peter Allen (bass) would spend the next year playing up and down the east coast before signing to Doghouse Records. The following year, their debut EP, Thank You, Goodnight, was released.
