Canadian-bred singer/bassist Parker Bossley first came to the public's attention as a member of Hot Hot Heat in 2008, before launching his solo career. In 2018, he issued the '80s synth-pop-influenced single "Lifted."
Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bossley started playing music at a young age. By the time he was 15, he had dropped out of school to tour with his indie rock band the Heck, who had signed with Bif Naked's Her Royal Majesty's Records label. From there, he also spent several years with the emo/dance-rock outfit Fake Shark-Real Zombie.
