Upon their formation in 1996, the Irish Hills, MI, three-piece of Narrow Seven debuted their package of metal that paid tribute to its era of the '70s and '80s. With the collaboration of singer and guitarist J. Scott Ecie, bassist Jeremy Vaughn, and drummer Al Lenart, an inspiration of Ted Nugent, AC/DC, and the Scorpions resulted as they played locally throughout the Detroit area. By 2000, HRA Records contributed in the release of Narrow Seven's debut album Between Six and Eight.
