The son of influential fiddler Leif Stinnerbom, co-founder of Nordic folk band Groupa Magnus Stinnerbom has continued to follow his father's example. In addition to performing with Hedningarna since 1999, he's accompanied the band's vocalist Sanna Kurki-Suonio during her solo performances and performed in a duo, Harv, that he shares with fiddler Daniel Sarden-Warg. Their debut album, Harv, featuring instrumental support from guitarist Roger Tallroth of Vasen and percussionist Bjorn Tollin of Hedningarna, was released in 1999. According to www.amazon.com, Stinnerbom and Sarden-Warg are "two young fiddlers coming on like Jimi Hendrix in their attitude toward the old tunes...that they can make traditional music seem so alive, as if it were just composed yesterday, is little short of miraculous."
