Artist Biography by

Fusing together urban and tropical music, New York City-based bachata duo Loisaidas made their self-titled full-length album debut in 2011. Comprised of singer/songwriter Aquiles Nuñez and producer Isaiah Parker, the duo hails from the Lower East Side of Manhattan; hence their name, Loisaidas, a Spanish-language pronunciation of "Lower East Side" common to residents of the neighborhood. On the strength of their independently released single "No Me Dejes," Loisaidas were signed to Grammy Award-winning producer Sergio George's Top Stop Music label in 2010. They made their full-length album debut the following year with Loisaidas (2011), which includes "No Me Dejes" as well as the follow-up singles "Ayer" and "Porque Te Amo."
