Originally calling themselves Leader Dogs for the Blind this Michigan-based Christian metal band shortened their name out of respect for a local guide-dog organization by the same name, just prior to the release of 1995's Lemonade album, which featured a curious mix of ‘90s alt-metal (ala Soundgarden) and industrial elements. The record went nowhere and band members Derek Cilibraise (vocals), Grant Mohrman (guitar/programming), and Andre Barancik (drums) eventually scattered. Band leader and guitarist Lyndon Perry later relocated to Illinois and started fresh with a new batch of musicians, but has yet to record additional Leader Dogs product.
