Wolfgang Voigt released a few records on his Profan label as Grungerman, including the Fackeln In Sturm EP. The title track to this EP drew the attention of the Harvest label, allowing Voigt to re-release the song with additional mixes under the name Dom. In addition to the Profan EPs, Voigt also released some Grungerman records on the Kreisel 19999 series of 7" records. Similar in sound to his bouncy Studio 1 records, Voigt's work as Grungerman tends to use warmer, more dub-like bass beats and a much more repetitive rhythmic structure, best illustrated on the original ten-minute version of "Fackeln In Sturm," which seems to go nowhere while undergoing the smallest fluctuations.
