The Canadian pop band who called themselves Condition was originally formed in Montreal by saxophonist Eddy Strawiak and singer Julia Gilmore. Both artists helped out with the songwriting for this endeavor. The group recorded their debut album, Dirty Business, in the early '80s. It was released on cassette by Og Music. A sophomore followed in 1985, Mumbo Jumbo, which was the best-selling album by Condition during their existence. One final offering was completed in 1986, an EP titled Red Hot and Blue. The group's music is a mixture of many styles, including jazz, rockabilly, and even a little country.
