This Californian quintet specialized in sophisticated rock, with a distinctly commercial pop edge. Formed in 1986, the band comprised Bill Trudel (vocals), Stuart Mathis (guitar), Peter McLan (keyboards), Wade Biery (bass) and Jerry Speiser (drums). Strongly influenced by Toto, Kansas and Mr. Mister, they debuted in 1987 with Foundation, but split up immediately after the album’s release. Trudel went on to work with ex-Jeff Paris musician Michael Thompson, while McLan handled production duties for Men At Work.
