b. England. A vivacious singer, Gordon works in partnership with bass player Bob Newman and they have become very popular with audiences and successful with critics. She and Newman were voted as Best Duo by the British Country Music Association on three occasions. Among visitors from the USA with whom they toured were Tammy Wynette and Boxcar Willie. They also produced and toured the UK with shows such as Forever In Blue Jeans and Voice Of The Heart. Although these shows presented music from the 50s through to the present day, the first of them featured music associated with Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley and Shania Twain, while the latter paid tribute to the Carpenters.

The shows of Gordon and Newman have been presented at various music festivals as well as on board luxury cruise liners. For their shows, Gordon and Newman have employed the talents of instrumentalists and singers such as Chris Burgess, Rachel Cantrell, John Clegg, Martyn Cooper, Mark Crowe, Duncan Heather, David Jerome, Graham Walker, Natalie Waters and Carina Watson.
