Artist Biography by

Very little is known about Ricciotti except that he was a gentleman, played the violin, taught Count Willem Bentinck and is thought to have composed six concertos entitled "Concerti Armonica" for short or "VI concerti armonici a quattro violini obligati, alto viola, violoncello obligato e basso continuo." These works were variously attributed to Handel, Count von Erbach, Prince von Buckeburg and Pergolesi. Although Riciotti can not be completely dismissed as the composer he can not be securely established as the composer either.
