Brian J. Bowe

Journalist Brian J. Bowe was the first new blood to join Creem Magazine in its 21st century incarnation. After receiving the stamp of approval from several key Creem alumni, he was offered the editor job in the photo pit at the first Stooges reunion show in 2003. He began his career working at daily newspapers the Holland (Mich.) Sentinel and the Nashua (N.H.) Telegraph. His byline has appeared in many publications, from the (Detroit) Metro Times and Harp Magazine to Reuters wire service and newspapers throughout Michigan. Bowe teaches journalism in Grand Valley State University's School of Communications. He lives outside of Saugatuck, Michigan with his wife.
