Not every band credits its drum technicians; in fact, not every band even has such a creature on staff. In the case of the Canadian rock outfit Nickelback, it is rumored that drum technician Andrew Morgan is working harder than anyone else in his profession. Nickelback drummer Ryan Vikedal has apparently broken more snare drum heads and bass drum pedals than the number of cattle living directly north of Calgary, a statistic skeptics will have to travel to the band's old stomping grounds of Hanna, Alberta, in order to disprove. His replacement, Daniel Adair, is apparently only a shade less vicious. The man who gets their drum sets back in playing condition is neither the Andrew Morgan who played New Orleans jazz nor the one who sang with Chicago soul band Starvue.
