DJ/remixer/producer Christophe Chantzis, also known as DJ Jam and DJ Glenn, teamed up with DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz to assemble his first major project in the Belgian club/dance music scene. After being joined by singer Pascale Feront, who later became involved in his own project, the newcomer act started performing live along with two professional dancers. Absolom's first local release was called Secret. Their first U.S. hit single, titled "Stars," began climbing dance music charts in December 2001.
