The second in this two-disc set was predominantly recorded live in Tarrytown, New York in 1988 and features Judy Collins doing what she does best: reinterpreting classic and contemporary music in her own unique way. She starts and ends with Bette Midler's smash soft rock hits "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "From a Distance." Much like the selections she chooses, Collins' voice sounds fresh and honest; the band, however, sounds a bit dated and the arrangements a bit overly polished, which does nothing but jarringly contrast with Collins' voice. This is a release that diehards will no doubt enjoy, especially those who enjoy soft rock. But newer fans are advised to search elsewhere in Collins' catalog.
