AllMusic Review by

Get Fucked would like you to think they're raunchy, what with the foul-mouthed name and bare-breasted cover of their debut album. They are, in fact, two Englishmen, Nathan Coles and Nils Hess, simply taking the piss, seeing how far they can push sensibilities before someone calls foul, at which point you would suspect they would just fall over laughing. It's a shame that neither the offensiveness nor the attitude actually found its way into the music. Instead, this collection of moderate tempo tech-house does little to distinguish itself from the rest of the field, or even one track from the other. "Technics Blisters" has a nice synth line, and "Stripper" at least has enough punch to get your head nodding, but Wet Dreams is really just safe fodder that's mediocrity is even apparent in the production values. Neither raw enough to be edgy or produced enough to be slick, there is not one tone anywhere that might push the horns in your stereo speakers, a true shame considering the boundless sonic palette that good electronic music can posses. There is nothing wrong with slow music, or simple DJ tools, but putting such basic materials in such garnished packaging isn't clever irony -- more like unwelcome cynicism.
