AllMusic Review by

This intriguing outing features multi-instrumentalist Cyril Morin on vocals, piano, celeste, bass, and programming in conjunction with the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra. Vocalists Vidya Rao and Kakoli Sengupta lend their pipes to the project as well with Middle Eastern and Asian-inflected singing on tracks like "Rivers on My Skin" and "Fragments of You."

The lush, enveloping sound of the orchestra is used primarily for color and texture, and this balances nicely with Morin's instrumental contributions, which tend to lean toward the experimental in phrasing and execution. The music is quite adventurous, falling somewhere between film music, 20th-century chamber music, and dreamy ambient mindscapes, creating an overall listening experience that is as dramatic as it is uniquely compelling.
