This is her first tape of a strictly musical nature, without a guided portion. She has developed an elegant approach to synthesizer keyboards, offering music with interweaving patterns made up of synthesized strings, bells and angelic tonalities. There are two long pieces; one has a very watery feel, from the quiet, radiant pools to crystalline tidepools to cascading mountain waterfalls. The other track, "Angel Light," explores the element of air. Streams of sonic, clear light, with tinkling, harmonic pools of interwoven strings and chimes, make an ideal background for massage, yoga or quiet times. For fans of Iasos, Frank Lorentzen, or Kevin Braheny's The Way Home, Watergarden is a nice addition.
