AllMusic Review by

Micro-house is a natural fit for the lucrative chill-out compilation market, as the second in the Voyage Leger series goes some way in proving. Released and conceived by MRI's Frank Elting and Stephan Lieb, the sequel features an astonishingly minimal collection of restrained techno and trip-hop beats, ranging from the single-note funk of Swayzak's "Illegal" and Luca's "De Wa" to the more Aphex Twin-inspired extended blooms of Blake C.'s "Interzone Teatime" and Martin Jarl's "Stoerning." A significant amount of filler as well, but Slate of Suspense's "My Mind" is probably the best example of back-to-basics house making a foray into involved, chilled nostalgia.
